Ars Technica has a nice article where they talk about the latest tests done on Firefox 3, Internet Explorer 7, Opera, and Firefox 2 comparing memory usage. The results are promising, with Firefox 3 using only half the memory of Firefox 2 under heavy testing (50 tabs).
